Learning Design Manager – Judge Business School Executive Education
£60,000 – 65,000 + Bonus + Strong Benefits
Judge Business School Executive Education Limited (JBSEEL) is based within Cambridge Judge Business School (CJBS) and a wholly owned subsidiary of the University of Cambridge. JBSEEL is currently seeking a Learning Design Manager who wants to change leaders who change the world! This role is pivotal in driving pedagogical excellence across their Executive Education programs and commercial product offerings. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic and innovative professional to shape and implement a Learning Design strategy whilst managing a passionate Learning Design team. You’ll create world-class learning solutions that combine premium content with cutting-edge methods and technologies, such as simulations, digital platforms, and immersive experiences.
Develop and implement a strategic plan to drive and embed commercial and pedagogical learning design
Lead and manage a team of Learning Design Consultants, ensuring quality control and timely project completion
Optimize the deployment of new technologies and resources, and implement effective resource management processes
Develop and implement a robust performance management framework for the team
Support and promote differentiated learning design for Executive Education, sourcing and curating new learning solutions and methods
Lead on learning quality, innovation, and currency, reporting regularly on evaluations
Contribute to bid strategies by building compelling program design narratives
Provide consultative support to clients, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor on program design and pedagogical modalities
Advise and enhance current design tools and curricula through innovative methods and technologies
Design digital and in-person learning experiences that reinforce learning and explore knowledge transfer.
Learning Design Manager: Skills/experience
Expertise in designing learning solutions across diverse modalities (face-to-face, blended, virtual, digital)
Commitment to innovation, creativity, and continuous improvement
Proven experience leading, managing, and developing teams
Strategic approach to function development, demonstrating commercial and educational value
Strong knowledge of pedagogical methods to enhance understanding and learning transfer
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Extensive experience in training, facilitation, and assessment
Skilled in learning needs analysis, curriculum design, and learning outcome assessment
Proficient in devising metrics to measure return on investment
Experience designing and delivering customized solutions
Skilled in facilitating client workshops and needs analysis
Financially aware, with budgeting and cost management capabilities
Ability to work effectively in teams and independently
Flexible approach to meet client and stakeholder needs.
Desirable
APM or Agile Project Management accreditation
Experience with Fortune 500 organisations
Background in business school executive education, professional services, or edtech
A salary in the region of £60,000 – 65,000, bonus and generous benefits package including 33 days holiday plus bank holidays is offered.
