An academic publisher with one of the most successful track records for growth over the last ten years is looking to recruit a Marketing Manager – Journals, to manage a list of high-profile titles and implement OA corporate strategy.

Reporting to the Group Marketing Manager, the key responsibilities of the role include:
- Managing the marketing and strategic development of the OA journal portfolio
- Devising and implementing strategic marketing plans
- Using a variety of marketing channels to reach customers during the customer experience
- Devising new digital marketing strategies to drive manuscript submissions and usage
- Collaborating with key internal stakeholders to maintain relationships, projects and processes
- Presenting on marketing plans and analysis with external stakeholders
- Preparing and managing annual budgets for assigned products.
The ideal candidate will be a marketing professional with solid experience of product marketing, familiar with a full marketing mix within a B2C setting, be highly organised and comfortable managing multiple projects. Excellent communication, presentation, analysis, and copywriting skills are essential, as is the ability to build and maintain effective internal and external stakeholder relationships. The ability to think critically to find solutions to problems and identifying new approaches to existing problems is required.
