Reporting into the Head of Product Management this is a strategic role focusing on long term product platform strategy.
Key responsibilities
- Lead product teams to establish product platform strategy, agree product goals and develop plans for delivery and execution
- Be the expert within the business for your product areas
- Lead the prioritisation, definition and delivery of assigned product enhancement projects
- Initiate, define and complete user testing to meet the business goals and product KPIs
- Explore new product opportunities and develop business proposals
- Develop a thorough understanding of the products, who is using them and how, by analysing product usage data and interacting regularly with customers
- Make solid business recommendations shaping product priorities and budget requests
- Actively engage in emerging technologies, techniques and innovations to drive
strategic business decisions.
The successful candidate will have solid product management experience, with a strong working knowledge of product management best practices. You will be a brilliant communicator who builds great relationships and makes things happen. You will have a good understanding of the latest tech trends, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a good working knowledge of data analytics and data management tools. Experience of the Academic Publishing Industry would be advantageous.
